TACKLE FOOTBALL

Recent changes:

According to Big Horn School District #2 School Board policy, 6th grade

football program has been incorporated into the Recreation District program.

All interested 5 & 6 graders have the option to participate. 

The format will follow "USA Football" guidelines, 8-on-8 players, again this year.


Registration begins on August 28 (Th)

First Practice will be September 1 (T) at 5:30 p.m. 

Location: Middle School Fields

All participants MUST have a "Consent to Participate &  Liability Release" form

completed and on file with our office, in order to participate.

All participants should wear a face mask to practice/game. 

They will have their temperature checked and Hand Sanitizer used at the beginning of each session of play.

Face Masks will not be required while scrimmaging and during games.

Equipment will be passed out on Sept. 3 (Th).  Times for check-out will be assigned.  A $50 deposit will be due upon receipt of equipment.

Coach Nicc Crosby & staff from both the high school and middle

school will be working closely with the Rec program coaches to ensure

skills and techniques are followed as stated in with the USA Football league

format.  Playing 8-on-8 will allowing more playing time on the field. 

 

Lovell Recreation will continue to require a $50 uniform & equipment deposit

Names A-H at 4:30 - 5:00 

Names G - W at 5:00 - 5:20

Sept. 3 (Th) Location: 143 East Main Str (Gymn Bldg on Main Str.)

(of which $45 will be refunded at the end of season when equipment

is turned in and in good condition. Lovell Recreation requires the deposit

since we have no lockers available to the players--they take the equipment home.)

 

A Recreation District "Consent to Participate & Liability Release"

form will be required for those who are playing .

This form is available online and will also be available 

when equipment is checked out on August 28 (F).  

Release forms MUST be filled out and signed, and

equipment deposit received BEFORE practice starts on September 1 (T).

 Cost $15 per player (plus $50 deposit)

($15 Fee Includes Early Bird Discount, but NOT the Family Discount or the Equipment Deposit fee) 

The Early Bird Discount of $5 per participant is reflected in 

fee of $15 listed above, IF paid in full BY Registration Due Date.  

Registrations after September 4 will be $20 each, in addition to the equipment deposit.
